The heroes met at another safe house to discuss the hourglass note and discovered that it had likely been left behind by a member of the Sub Rosarium. After much discussion at the Beer Forge, the group sought Pinból’s help in identifying who may have left the card.
The group arrived at Pinból’s tower only to discover that, once again, he was not home. Mo informed them that Pinból had gone to Green Iron Village, in the Skyroot Forest, to speak with the goblins there regarding a job.  Mo offered refreshments and was Seldanna’s accidental victim as she spilled blackberry wine all over him. Between this and some other incidents, Mo developed a slight paranoia regarding blackberry and being too close to it when the Phoenix Dawn were nearby.
Heading toward Green Iron Village, the group decided to stop by Primeheart’s hut in the woods. They were greeted by several awakened trees; all of whom were clearly happy to see Primeheart. The trees were maintaining his garden and, from his hut, Primeheart was able to lead the others to the most recent location where he had seen a Green Iron goblin only a few days before.
Reaching the location of the previous sighting, the group ran into one of the goblins named Patsy III. He was there to test a new invention that one of the other goblins, Tinker, had created. He agreed to take to the group to the village after finishing the testing.
As Patsy III laid out crystals and candles per Tinker’s instructions, Seldanna noticed that the layout closely resembled a spell to create a portal. Knowing that the chances of actually getting a portal to open this way were infinitesimally small, she did not worry about the possibilities as Patsy III tried different combinations.
With little warning, one of the combinations worked and a portal opened in the clearing in the woods. The group watched, none more dumbfounded than Seldanna, as the portal slowly opened and stabilized. Patsy III made a few notes and prepared to shut down the portal when a creature suddenly appeared through the portal and attacked those gathered nearby.
The creature had a large potato shaped body with a porcine head and multiple eyes down its sides. Tentacles sprang from its back and whipped through the air as the group fought it. It came to be known as the dreaded pigtato. After many fierce blows from both sides, Primeheart was able to cleave the creature’s head from its body. Pesk harvested the meat and they all followed Patsy III to the goblin village.
. Green Iron Village appeared before, nestled into the trees in a large clearing. The village, at the time, consisted of roughly one hundred goblins. Their simple huts and furniture were in contrast to the items they diligently tinkered, forged, and experimented to create. Boss, a tall goblin with a mohawk, and Tinker, a mousey goblin constantly sketching ideas, greeted the group. They were able to negotiate a contract, with the goblins, to create disguisable weapons in exchange for the majority of the pigtato meat. The goblins were also able to give them useful information regarding the Sub Rosarium. Though they did not know much, they had a name to give the group: The Sprocket Man.
The group stopped by Pinból’s tower on their back into town and he expressed concern for Seldanna’s well being. He felt that she had dramatically changed since his first time meeting her several years before.  He let her know that, should she need his help, she was always welcome at his tower. He told the group to seek Afra of the Lightsmiths and tell her “Pinból sent us” in order to learn more about the Sprocket Man.
Pesk, who was living in the Divine Foundry building, knew Afra and where to find her. Afra informed them that the Sprocket Man could be contacted by going to a certain park in the Greywall District and flying a kite at exactly 9 o’clock in the morning. She warned them also. The Sprocket Man was a person that had lost everything and had no one. Though not inherently evil, he was a dangerous man that had been through difficult times. She asked that the group not judge him too harshly if they found him.
